Veritas Mk.II Honing Guide

The Veritas Mk-2 honing guide will enable you to keep all your chisels and plane irons locked in position for every stroke as you sharpen and hone the cutting edge. Once you have your primary bevel; for a secondary bevel, just pull twist, and release the eccentric roller to add 5 degrees. All without changing any angles. It’ll sharpen cutters up to 1/2″ thick. It’ll comfortably lock in place a 1/4″ chisel without fear of it moving during a cut. It’s also wide enough to sharpen up to a 2-7/8″ wide plane iron.
