UFP-Edge Thermally Modified Wood boards are more durable than typical wood siding because they resist rot. The wood has been treated with heat and steam in an all-natural process that produces lightweight, stable boards less likely to shrink or expand. These durable tongue-and-groove boards are available in 7 prestained colors plus natural (unfinished). Use the wood paneling for projects like exterior cladding, rain screens, soffits, ceilings, and walls. Note that color and grain can vary from board to board. For the most consistent color, purchase the amount you’ll need for the entire job plus 10%. Water-based stain is machine applied and has a UV protectant. The natural boards are unfinished and will eventually turn gray if exposed to sunlight. To preserve the color, manufacturer recommends sealing. Not for ground contact.
