Timber Wolf* 3/4-inch band saw blades are manufactured using premium Swedish steels, proprietary induction hardening methods and exclusive tooth milling processes created some of the finest woodworking band saw blades in the world. Milling the teeth of the blade into a piece of strip steel produces a finished, razor sharp edge without ever having to stamp or grind the teeth. Induction hardening allows for different but more precise hardness throughout the blade. These unique manufacturing techniques along with the use of Swedish Silicon steel set these blades apart from all other carbon based blades. VPC (Variable Positive Claw): The VPC is designed for straight-line resawing in small to large boards, kiln and air dry, up to 12 inches wide. The variable pitch, positive claw, tooth design reduces resonance throughout the blade by using different size teeth, which produces a very clean finish almost polishing the wood as it cuts. Now available in 3/4 and 1 inch widths. AS (Alternate Set): These blades are only available in 3/8 inch x 3tpi, 1/2 inch x 3tpi and 1/2 inch x 2tpi. These blades are unique in their body thickness, set, and rake angle. They are .032 thick, have a full alternate set, a unique rake angle of 8.5 degrees, and incorporate the unique geometry of our PC tooth design.
