White Portland cement is used for prestige construction projects and decorative work. White concrete usually takes the form of pre-cast cladding panels. White Portland cement is also used in combination with inorganic pigments to produce brightly colored concretes and mortars. It is great for decorative projects that are tended to have chromatic and bright hues and pigments. Ordinary cement, when used with pigments, produces colors that may be attractive, but are somewhat dull. With white cement, bright reds, yellows and greens can be readily produced. Blue concrete can also be made. The pigments may be added at the concrete mixer. Note: This is a raw material that contains a very little amount of Iron Oxide and Manganese Oxide and oil is used to avoid contamination by coal ash. On the other hand, grey Cement has coal, petroleum coke, fuel oil, natural gas. Grey Cement is usually less fine than white cement.
