The Stylus UV is an ultra-slim pen light with a high intensity Ultraviolet LED light for fluorescent detection of fraudulent documents and for use in forensic investigations. Ultraviolet light is used to fluoresce dyes used in many leak detection applications, in automotive serving and air conditioning system servicing. It uses 3 AAAA alkaline batteries to operate the 365 nm UV LED with a 3.8 mW measured system output. The Stylus UV features a momentary blink switch and constant on setting. It has a hard coat anodized aluminum housing, and is IPX4 rated for water-resistant operation. Each Stylus is individually serialized, has a pocket clip, and includes a Glare Guard protector.
